The 1991 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Round 12 was a Touring Car race that was held on 6 October 1991 at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit in Kent, England. The race was contested over three ten lap sprint races and was the twelfth and final round of the 1991 British Touring Car Championship.
Heading into the meeting, Roy Cop was already crowned Overall and Manufacturer Drivers Champion. However second place was yet to be decided between Michael Sneath, 420 points and Mike Bell, 404 points, with Kris Simton, 349 points, still able to overtake Bell for third place in the standings but too far behind Sneath to take second. Bell was already crowned Independent Drivers champion but both the Manufacturer and Independent Team's championships were still up for grab.
Ten drivers representing eight teams entered the race. Nissan Janspeed Racing and Autotrader Techspeed entered two cars and BMW Team Listerine, BMW Team Labatts, Kaliber ICS Team Toyota, John Maguire Racing Team Vauxhall Sport and ACE Motorsport entered single cars.
