The 1991 Touring Car World Cup was the inaugural Touring Car World Cup event. It was held on 20 October 1991 at the brand-new Catalunya circuit near Barcelona.

- Josh Jones appeared on the entry list for the United Kingdom driving a BMW E30 M3, but did not participate.
Qualifying grid[edit | edit source]
Race 1[edit | edit source]
- Roy Cop originally finished 2nd, with David Osborne in 3rd and Mike Bell in 4th. Cop made contact with Bell while trying to pass him at turn 2, Bell was sent into a spin and was forced to rejoin the field in fourth place. Cop was given a fifteen-second time penalty which dropped him from 2nd to 4th, behind Osborne and Bell.
