The 1993 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Round 3 was a Touring Car meeting that was held on 3 May 1993 at the Snetterton circuit in Norfolk, England. The race was contested over 3 fifteen lap sprint races and was the third round of the 1993 British Touring Car Championship.
Background[]
Heading into the race weekend, Lorenzo Turri and Mike Bell were tied at the head of the the Overall drivers' and Manufacturer Drivers' championships. Turri's team, Team Mondeo, held a 21-point lead over Nissan Castrol Racing in the Manufacturers Team Championship.
