The 1993 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Round 7 was a Touring Car meeting that was held on 25 July 1993 at the Knockhill circuit in Fife, Scotland. The race was contested over 3 22 lap sprint races and was the seventh round of the 1993 British Touring Car Championship.
Background[]
Heading into the race weekend, Lorenzo Turri led Mike Bell at the head of the the Overall drivers' and Manufacturer Drivers' championships by 13 points. However, it was Bell's team, Nissan Castrol Racing, held a 32-point lead over Team Mondeo in the Manufacturers Team Championship.
